Say it ain’t so! ( a reference for music fans) Summer’s last fling is right around the corner with lots of music, food, fun and special events.
The Last Fling is Naperville’s end of summer celebration. It’s a four day festival featuring live music, a carnival, Family Fun Land and the Labor Day Parade. The Last Fling is also the Jaycees’ largest annual fundraiser. Proceeds from the Last Fling benefit local charitable organizations.
Let’s get to the specifics of Last Fling family friendly events.
The Last Fling Parade is Monday, September 2 starting at 10am at Naperville North High School Rain or Shine and admission is FREE.
The Last Fling Main Stage kicks off with Better Than Ezra Friday at 5pm. Gates open at 4:45pm. Entrance into the Main Stage Area is on a first-come-first-served basis. This is a rain or shine, non profit event and no refunds will be given for any reason.
Saturday at the Block Party Stage events start at noon and run every 2 hours through 8pm. Bands include the Boy Band Night at 8pm and the Hair Band Night at 6pm.
Something new this year at Naperville Last Fling is the Art Expo. It features more than 2 dozen artists from around the Midwest with art work in a variety of mediums.
