So many classic family events coming up in Naperville during August. Are you and your kids pet lovers, music fans, duck race enthusiasts and looking for fun? Let’s get started!

The Painted Dog Sculptures will be on display throughout downtown Naperville until mid September. Do you have a favorite?  Good news there is still time to vote. Add Your Vote Here. Results of voting will be tabulated and winners announced Monday, August 19.

Now for you race enthusiasts, the Riverwalk Duck Race sets off from the foot bridge near Centennial Park on Wednesday, August 14 at 10am. The 2000 ducks will race to Eagle Street Bridge near the Naperville Municipal Center. Proceeds benefit Riverwalk Foundation for education and enhancements along the riverwalk. How about a great big block party? The Old Naperville Day Block Party is Sunday, August 18 in downtown Naperville. There will be live music, food, beer, kids activities and fun, all to support DuPage PADs. We can’t talk about summer and Naperville without the Last Fling. This family friendly festival runs over Labor Day Weekend Friday, August 30 through Monday, September 2. There are events and fun for everyone including music on multiple stages, food, a carnival for kids, Frank E’s Fling Mile road race and a Parade. Check here for the full schedule.
