Bullying Prevention Month

 September 19, 2019

October is National Bullying Prevention Month

The primary goal of National Bullying Prevention Month is to bring attention to the problem of bullying and cyberbullying in Naperville and nationwide in a campaign to keep all kids safe from bullying.

Schools in Naperville are holding special themed events and have incorporated Bullying Prevention in student services, for example Naperville Central High School’s (Be)3 program. We invite you to post your Bullying Prevention events on our Event Calendar at no cost. Let Blue Scooter Kids families know about events at your school or organization!

One fun event we would like to let you know about is Be a Buddy Not a Bully at the Chicago Wolves Home Opener Saturday, October 5. Kidpower invites you to the 2019 AHL Western Conference Champion Chicago Wolves’ home opener on Saturday, Oct. 5, at 7 p.m. at Allstate Arena in Rosemont to celebrate and support this campaign.

Wear Orange! Visit the pledge-signing station, take the “Pledge with the Wolves,” get your “I pledged with the Wolves” certificate and more! Wear orange and let’s send one big ORANGE message of unity, hope and support. Join us as we unite against bullying and advocate for kindness, acceptance and inclusion.
